Founded the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) – Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health (ANSER) research group focusing on global, sexual and reproductive health rights.
This groups has attracted funding for research, conducted publication writing, grants and proposal writing, community engagement and consultative forums. The following post graduate young researchers have been mentored through this platform; James Munyao, Njeri Ngaruiya, Benjamin Kioko and Margaret Adhiambo among others.
Through my mentorship, the TUK School of Health Sceinces Health day was held in 2019. This was in collaboration with the SHST Student Representative, who i supported to decide on the themes and also access pharmaceutical providers, who offered free diabetic screening kits for 300 students on that day.
